Ah, it's a Grand Day - everything counts - the quest to qualify for the State Tournament begins - it is a short but exciting season

I will be out and about covering Softball Games before my first Broadcast on Wednesday, April 18th:

Lyman Hall at Sheehan 5:55pm on ESPNradio1300, ESPNradio1300.com & iheartradio

And remember you can WATCH the ENTIRE Game, with the AUDIO play by play by going to 960WELI.com, go to the ON AIR COLUMN, click on the High School Sports Page and you are there. You can also go to the ESPNradio1300 Facebook Page.

I don't know if my little guy Willy will be able to get through an entire game. He's only 3, and he likes to move around, so I don't know if he will make the entire game.

As for Saturday, weather and field conditions always play a part in what games are played.

However, there is a game in Milford - Lions and Crusaders oh my  and if played - I will be there! Also, I will be giving out a plaque after the game to the Player of the Game.

It's the ESPNradio1300 Willy George DeMaio Top Dog of the Game Award.

I will take pictures and Post them on my Blog and Facebook Pages.

So get set - we're off and running!
