Opening Day of the High School Softball and Baseball seasons is just 9 days away. Hopefully, the weather will be nice but more important, will the fields be ready for play. Many times, that is the bigger issue. Sometimes the 2 teams will switch Home Games if the other team's field is ok to play on. They should in fact do this at all times. To postpone games and play makeups at the end of the season is just silly. I believe the rule says - you play on the next available date, but I don't think teams always adhere to that rule.

The Girls Game starts at 1pm - Conn. East vs. Conn West
The Boys Game starts at 3pm - Conn. vs. New Jersey
