In our Wednesday Broadcast, Hamden defeated Hillhouse 67-49 to win the SCC Boys Basketball Tournament Championship at the Floyd Little Athletic Center. It is Hamden's first tournament title.
Victor Rosario led Hamden with 23 points, which included 6 3 pointers, 5 in the 1st Quarter. Jaylen Ricks added 15 points and Ronnie Ellis 14 points for the Green Dragons.
Rayshawn Brewer had 11 points and Tyrone Kelley 10 points for the Academics. Both teams will now head to the State Tournament.

The Boys CIAC State Basketball Tournament starts on Monday.
The Girls CIAC State Basketball Tournament has begun but there were no games on Wednesday. The Tournament resumes on Thursday.
