The Yankees beat the Twins 11-3. New York scored 11 unanswered runs. Aaron Judge, Gary Sanchez and Didi Gregorius all homered for the Yanks.
The Red Sox defeated the Orioles 9-0. Chris Sale got the win, his 17th of the season. Sale also struck out 13 to give him 300 for the season. He is the first pitcher with 300 strikeouts since Pedro Martinez did it in 1999. Boston still leads the Yanks by 3 games in the AL East.
The Mets were swept by the Marlins in Florida losing 9-2. Giancarlo Stanton hit Home Run #56 for Miami.
