Rain Plays Havoc with Legion Regional Tournament

The rain played havoc with the schedule on the first day of the American Legion(19u) Northeast Regional Tournament in Massachusetts.

There was only 1 game completed. Bangor, Maine defeated Franklin County, Vermont 15-4.

Stamford was leading Rochester, New Hampshire 1-0 in the 5th inning when the rain came. It will continue from the 5th inning on Thursday at 9:00am.

West Hartford will play the Host, Shrewsbury, Mass Thursday at 9:30am at Holy Cross University.

The NABF Northeast Regional Tournament will take place on Friday, August 4th and Saturday, August 5th in West Haven. 

Flanagan Associates and Columbus Auto Body will play in this Tournament.

The Semifinals are scheduled for Saturday at 12:00pm at Quigley Stadium and Piurek Field.

The Championship is slated for Saturday at 4:30pm at Quigley Stadium.

The winner of the Regional Tournament advances to the NABF World Series in Battle Creek, Michigan.
