East Haven defeated Branford 6-5 in 14 innings in the completion of a suspended game. The game was called because of darkness 5-5 after 7 innings. The 2 teams played another full game. East Haven scored a run in the top of the 14th to take a 6-5 lead. But Branford had the tying run at 2nd base with 1 out in the bottom of the 14th. Mark Smith then made a diving catch of a line drive and turned it into a game ending double play. East Haven is 6-3, Branford 2-6.
