It was a nice family trip to Milford to take in Zone 2 Legion baseball - Hamden at Milford. A great game - scoreless through 4 innings. But Hamden scored 2 runs in the 5th on rbis from Jamie Santore and Ron Desroches. Milford got a run back in the 6th on an rbi single from Jeremiah Bravo. In the bottom of the 7th, Milford had the tying run at 3rd base with 2 outs, but an unbelievable play at shortstop by Trevor Brandi and a great pickup at 1st base by Marc Richitelli preserved the Hamden 2-1 win and kept Post 88 unbeaten at 3-0. Frank Niro got the win for Hamden and had 7 strikeouts. Conor Creane pitched a great game in defeat for Milford.

New Haven 1 North Haven 0 Eric Redente pitched a NO HITTER for New Haven. Joe Albarran drove in the only run of the game for New Haven. New Haven is 3-0.
Orange and Stratford split a Doubleheader. Stratford won Game 1 3-1. Zach Piroh was the winning pitcher.
Orange took Game 2 7-4. Ben Lodewick got the win for Orange.
