The CIAC State Tournament begins Tuesday in Softball and Baseball. Every team is 0-0. Single elimination - one loss and you're done. The First Round starts Tuesday, the Second Round on Wednesday and the Quarterfinals are on Friday and Saturday.
Congrats to the North Branford Thunderbirds for capturing the Shoreline Conference Softball Championship, beating Hale Ray 10-5 on Sunday.
My next Broadcast is slated for Monday, June 5, the State Tournament Semifinals in Girls Softball. Coverage starts at 3:55pm for Game 1 and 6:55pm for Game 2.
