The opening broadcast of the High School Softball Season turned out to be an exciting one as North Haven nipped Foran 3-2.
Olivia Peterson drove in the game winning run in the bottom of the 7th inning with 2 outs. Peterson had 3 hits in the game including a Home Run. Lauren Card was the winning pitcher. North Haven has won 9 in a row.
Hannah DeSousa had 2 hits and an rbi for Foran, now 4-7.
