Julia SanGiovanni singled home the game winning run in the bottom of the 7th to help East Haven beat Foran 5-4. San Giovanni had 2 hits in the game. Selena Mauro was the winning pitcher and hit a game tying Home Run and Jessica Stettinger had a double and rbi for East Haven.
Hannah DeSousa had 2 hits and and 2 rbis and Amanda Mendillo had 3 hits, including the 100th of her career, for Foran. The Lions scored all 4 of their runs in the 1st inning.
East Haven is 1-0, Foran 1-1.

The weather will wreak havoc on Thursday's schedule but hopefully some games will be played Friday and maybe on Saturday.
Wally did not make the trip on Wednesday, after a trip to the Vet. Everyone asked for him and I thank you for that. But don't fret, he'll be back on the road with me for our next game. I told him he has many games still to cover.
