The Academics of Hillhouse High School started #1 in the NH Register Preseason Boys Basketball Poll and finished #1 in the Final Register Poll. Hillhouse defeated East Hartford for the Class LL Championship.
Notre Dame(WH) finished #6 in the Poll.
Guilford finished #1 in the Final WELI Div. 2 Great 8 Coaches Hockey Poll while Woodstock Academy finished #1 in the Final WELI Div. 3 Great 8 Coaches Hockey Poll.
Both teams won State Championships. Guilford beat Watertown/Pomperaug 5-3 and Woodstock knocked off Hall/Southington 7-3.
The Softball and Baseball seasons are underway. Fields will hopefully be ready soon so teams can get out.
Lots of scrimmages are scheduled for this week and next.
The regular season scheduled to start Sat. April 1.
The first Softball Broadcast is set for Wednesday, April 26 at 7:00pm when Sacred Heart Academy visits West Haven.
Of course, Wally and I will be covering games before that first broadcast.
