It's time to get back to work after a brief hiatus aka paternity leave. To refresh my loyal readers, before my leave for the birth of my son Benson, I was 2-0 with my picks. During my time off, I called in two picks and nailed both of those as well. That puts me at a whopping but unsurprising 4-0 to start this football season. I then missed a couple weeks and failed to make a pick...I'll blame it on Benson for a lack of sleep. Well, it's time to return to duty and get back to the field. What a game to return to as well. Wow, two juggernauts who are also hated rivals. I haven't seen much football, but these two teams combine for a 9-1 record this season so I know it's going to be a good battle. In my first game back, since we are going "home" anyway, I might as well be a family man. West Haven is home to Coach DeMaio. West Haven is home to many of our broadcasts because of their proximity and facilities/staff. West Haven is blue just like my beloved Blue Knights, who are the number 1 team in the state. I digress. There's nothing like some home cooking when you have been away for a while. Give me the Blue Devils to out muscle Shelton in a bigtime home win to stay undefeated.
