Another guarantee in the books! Last night's victory moved the Goralnik Guarantee record to 4-1 and an overall record of 14-11. With the mindset of trying to up my overall record, I don't want to over think this one.
Coach likes to throw me off or give me a misleading tip to challenge me. I think he did that last night when he said on the broadcast "tomorrow night will be a tough one." Don't get me wrong, Foran is a team better than their 3-7 record says they are. Plus, last time these two teams met earlier this year, the Lions fought the Blue Devils to a 3-1 loss but it was a close game. That gives Foran all the confidence in the world that the can beat West Haven.
The one major problem is the motivation driving West Haven. The Blue Devils are one win away from securing a spot in the State Tournament and I fully expect them to clinch that spot tonight. They are playing at home against a team they know they can beat and Ronnie Luneau will make sure his boys are ready for this one.
