What a week of games we've had this week. It has been a great week for broadcasts, but a less than stellar week for Goralnik's Guesses. Fortunately, I was able to come away with a strong win Wednesday night with Amity's come-from-behind win over Milford Coop. With the W, I now move to 4-6 on the year. The win also built me some momentum heading into a good Friday night girls contest.
The Indians have had an up and down year and are capable of anything. The scary thing for Hand is this game is going to be played in the Tipi down in North Haven. A road win is never an easy thing to accomplish, especially against a team that has shown bright flashes at times throughout the season. If Hand sleeps on North Haven.... watch out!
With that said, I am going to roll with the Tigers. They are a very strong team this year with their only loss to Sheehan (who has yet to lose this year by the way). So let's be honest, Hand is definitely the better team. Hand should win this game. But what does that really even mean anymore. Any team is capable of winning any night it seems and tonight is no other.
Still, I will roll with the odds and the road Tigers to claw their way to victory. But trust me, I am not putting a stamp of Goralnik's Guarantee on this one. Full disclosure, I have dropped a Goralnik Guarantee once and obviously hit it. In that regard, I am still undefeated. In the less confident and accurate Goralnik's Guesses, I am 4-6.
