The girls of Lyman Hall and Jonathan Law turned in a great, competitive game that featured hot shooting by both teams and a long run that would decide the game In the closing seconds.
Lyman Hall‘s Kailey Lipka (22pts) and Hailey Bruneau(14 pts) got their team out to a fast start to the tune of a double digit lead during the game and had Jonathan Law on their heels. However, in the second half they would go cold, make costly turnovers, and miss timely free throws.
The Lyman Hall miscues, plus a concerted effort on defense, led to a late Lady Lawmen 12-0 run that featured clutch shots from Samara Thacker (16pts) and the”Hummel HotDog Player of the Game” Cali Jolley(16 pts) They would hang late to pull out the 56-54 victory for their 9th win of the season.
