ALL weekend at The Farmington Polo Grounds The Dream Ride Experience is the signature fundraising event of The Hometown Foundation, Inc. The weekend features family fun for all! It also includes the Dream Cruise, a Saturday police-escorted journey where drivers pair up with Dream Riders in their classic/exotic vehicles for a 12-mile cruise, Dream Show featuring cars and motorcycles, culminating in the Dream Ride, a Sunday motorcycle tour through the Farmington, Connecticut countryside, all to benefit The Hometown Foundation, Inc. Porchfest 2023 takes over Old Wethersfield Saturday! AUGUST 26, 9:00AM - 8:00PM. Join the Old Wethersfield Shopkeepers Association presents PorchFest 2023! A full day of music, vendors, yoga, shopping, food, drinks, sweets, family, friends & memories all on one bike-able and walkable street in the heart of Wethersfield's historic and cultural district. Come enjoy your favorite shops, restaurants, and colonial homes along with some of your favorite bands and music.
The Connecticut Taco Festival celebrates the Tacos and Taco-lovers alike. The goal is to find the best taco in Connecticut, and we need your help! Purchase a ticket and vote for your favorite taco amongst restaurants and food trucks. There will also be Lucha Libre Wrestling, the Taco Easting Content and the Chihuahua Photo Contest. And this is so cool! Happening Saturday morning at the Northern Farm & Flowers in Goshen, Join us anytime between 6:30 and 9:00am before the farm opens to the public. Enjoy a cup of coffee and fresh baked goodies while watching the butterflies and bees in the cutting garden and snip a pail of flowers to start off your weekend! Bring your favorite coffee mug if you’d like; you can even come in your jammies! We will be serving coffee and breakfast treats. You are welcome to bring your own one gallon pail to refill, or pick up a new pail to fill and take home. We are also offering an option to bring a guest.
