The 12th Annual Scarecrows on the Green starts this weekend and runs through November 1! This annual Branford Garden Club fundraiser includes dozens of imaginative entries from commercial businesses, local nonprofits, schools, learning centers, and more. Incredible scarecrows are created in innovative and colorful vignettes all displayed on the beautiful Branford Green.

Pumpkin Palooza is back! Hungerford Nature Center, 191 Farmington Avenue, Kensington will hold its annual Pumpkin Palooza Lighted Jack-O-Lantern Trail Walk on Friday, October 14th and Saturday, October 15th, 6:30-9:00 PM. Walk along our trails and gaze at the carved pumpkins. Enjoy complimentary cider, coffee, and donuts.. The fun continues with Halloween themed crafts and games. Visit www.newbritainyouthmuseum.org

This weekend it’s the 13th Annual Cove Side Carnival Rides, food, games, and more, right in the heart of one of the largest historic districts and location of the famously inspired Witch of Blackbird Pond. Come for the history, stay for the fun! High-energy thrill rides and rides just for children. Also, food, games, and entertainment.

This weekend at Foxwoods its’ country sensation Kelsea Ballerini Friday and classic rockers ZZ Top Saturday night.

And Sunday at Rentschler Field in East Hartford join us for the Walks to End Alzheimer's!
