In a strange story out of India, authorities arrested a man for mailing a 'ritual package' to an airport with the intention of protecting the site from tragedy. According to a local media report, the curious case began in January when officials at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru received a peculiar parcel containing a toothpaste tube cap, rotting flowers and tomatoes, iron scraps, and a few other inexplicable items. For the next few weeks, the package served as a private puzzle for airport administrators, who debated its meaning before finally reporting it to authorities at the beginning of March.
