An Indian airline passenger who attempted to open the emergency exit on the plane in mid-air offered a rather bizarre explanation for his unsettling behavior: ghostly possession. According to a local media report, the frightening incident occurred on Saturday evening as the commercial flight from Bengaluru was preparing to land at the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi. With the plane descending to an altitude of around 500 feet, people aboard the airliner were understandably rattled when passenger Mohammad Adnan suddenly popped out of his seat and began pushing a button to activate the emergency exit.
