Everything Pumpkin This Pumpkin Season

As a Vinnie I wasn't supposed to like pumpkin ravioli. And I didn't like it. I looooved it! Of course, the first time I had it was at CT hot spot Pasta Cosi. It remains a fave dish of mine. Pumpkin pancakes? I can eat 'em all season long, man. Same goes for pumpkin-flavored coffee. I do tend to enjoy that one more in the Fall, but I'll do it year-round, believe me. Some don't agree. They have pumpkin fatigue. This column isn't for you. Some new pumpkin product this season:

Pumpkin Empanadas: I want one. Today.

Pumpkin Spice Cookies: Been there, done that. Happy to again.

Pumpkin Bisque: I'd put it in a thermos!

Pumpkin Dog Biscuits: I fear your pooch will probably do the "sniff and ditch."

Pumpkin Biscotti: I'll dip them in my pumpkin coffee from Dunkin!

Pumpkin Almond Milk: A bit much, but no doubt delightful. I love the pumpkin eggnog that's been around for years.

Pumpkin Salsa: From Trader Joe's, it legit makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

Pumpkin Pasta Sauce: OK, this one sounds like a heck of a reach. But it's also from Trader Joe's, and I'm down.
