Tattoo Blues

An NHPD officer had tattoos on most of his body when he was hired as an officer in 2008; over the years he has added tattoos to his neck and hands with no backlash - not one word uttered - as the department does not have a policy against tattoos. Yet.

He is now facing possible termination when he appears before the Board of Police Commissioners over his latest tattoos. That date was recently moved from March 15 to March 27.

An anonymous inside source contacted The Vinnie Penn Project with these words: "The administration has alienated the officers through years of lack of respect, constant rollover of chiefs and people in power, and of course the leadership that only cares about themselves."
