"Mike's Hard Lesson" Might Be More Like It

I remember the first time my son approached me with a "twisted tea" or "hard lemonade" and asked me to help him with the cap. He was maybe eight. Even now, some four years later, he jokes about how easily they could be mistaken for a Brisk or some such. The kid ain't wrong!

As far back as 2008 people have been mistaking tons of these new-fangled Bartles & James upstarts for soft drinks. An Ann Arbor dad ordered one for his 7-year-old son at a Detroit Tigers game, having no idea he was purchasing an alcoholic beverage.

Or that his son would end up spending three days and two nights in the custody of Children's Protective Services.

What say you?
