In the NBA Monday night, the New York Knicks defeated the Brooklyn Nets 124-106. Spencer Dinwiddie had 28 points for Brooklyn and Jalen Brunson had 40 points for the Knicks.
Monday's Broadcast - Girls BB Branford at East Haven - rivalry time in Eastieville and Senior Night as well - East Haven trailed Branford 11-7 after 1 quarter but took charge in the 2nd, led 22-14 at Halftime and never looked back, beating the Hornets 49-40.
Juliana Iovino had 13 points and Gianna Castellano 11 points for the Yellowjackets while Lauren Kendrick had 13 points for Branford. East Haven finishes the regular season 13-7, Branford 6-14. Both teams will play in the upcoming SCC Tournament starting Thursday night.
