Men's Final 4 Set; UCONN Women Play; Quinn Loses; Joan Joyce Dies

The NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Final 4 are set.

Sunday, Kansas defeated Miami(Fla.) 76-50 and North Carolina beat St. Peter's 69-49.

So the Final 4 Matchups next weekend in New Orleans are:

Kansas vs. Villanova and Duke vs. North Carolina

Monday: UCONN will play North Carolina State for the Regional Championship in Bridgeport

One of the greatest female athletes ever, Joan Joyce, has died at the age of 81.

Joan Joyce had 150 no-hitters and 50 perfect games in her career. She pitched for the Raybestos Brakettes for 17 seasons; her record was 429-27 with 5,677 strikeouts; she had 105 no-hitters and 33 perfect games

She was the Women's Softball Coach at Florida Atlantic Univ. where she recently won her 1,000th game

She also played golf on the LPGA Tour for 20 years and slso played some basketball.

She struck out Ted Williams and Hank Aaron in exhibitions - truly a female ICON
