Wednesday's Broadcast - Boys Basketball - the SCC Tournament Championship - #1 seed Notre Dame(WH) vs. #2 seed Fairfield Prep
Some games are decided late in the game - others are decided earlier - that was the story of this game
Fairfield Prep and ND(WH) played even for 3 quarters, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th - however, - the first quarter was all ND when they took a 16-5 lead and went to win the game 53-45 and capture the SCC Tournament Championship.
ND never trailed in the game.
Andrew Lazarre had 17 points for ND(WH) and was named the MVP of the game. Timauri Gay added 14 points for the Green Knights.
Tommy Scholl had 16 points and Mike Iannazzo had 15 points for the Jesuits.
Both teams will now prepare for the CIAC State Tournament.
