A last minute audible and off to Woodbridge we go to take in the Spartans of Amity and the Green Dragons of Hamden for a good girl's basketball matchup. A battle between two undefeated teams leaves me baffled as to who to pick.
I was all ready to go for our battle between Prep and West Haven but Covid came crawling back to put that game on hold. So instead, with little time to prepare, I have to decide an early-season matchup of two good teams. Amity is known for basketball, whether it be boys or girls. It is also a very tough gym to play in as Amity's student section is always rocking. On a side note, here your prop bet of the game.... On an over/under of 10 Santa hats in the crowd, I will take the over!
Ok back to business.... Sitting at 4-1, I don't feel comfortable with where I am going tonight but, alas, a pick needs to be made. In a great game, give me the more battle-tested Green Dragons of Hamden. They have beaten two quality opponents this season and, despite playing their second straight road game, I like them to slide down the chimney just in time to put that W and a 3-0 start under their Christmas tree this year!
