Masks For Heroes CT proved that there are still many, many people here in the state in search of facemasks for themselves and their loved ones. Saturday's giveaway at Naugatuck Valley Community College from 6am-1pm was a huge success, and they have another scheduled at Four Science Park in New Haven tomorrow (Tuesday) beginning at 7am-1pm. Expecting heavy foot traffic at this one.
Despite the many CT residents coming out for masks, still clearly practicing social distancing and patiently waiting for this all to be over, there were seemingly just as many - if not more - acting as if the state had been given the green light. The state's many parks were all closed Sunday due to what can basically be summed up as a stampede on Saturday, from Sleeping Giant to Hammonasset.
