It went right down to the final seconds, but when the buzzer sounded, Hamden had nipped Wilbur Cross 53-51.
Yariliz Santiago made 2 foul shots with 11 seconds left in the game for the winning points. Santiago scored 8 points, all in the 4th Quarter(2 3's and 2 foul shots). Asya Brandon had 19 points and Rebecca Levine and Diamond White each had 10 points for the Green Dragons, now 7-3.
Rayne Durant led Wilbur Cross with 18 points. Dejah Middleton added 14 points for the Governors, now 9-3.
