North Haven Hands Cheshire 1st Loss after Cheshire Rallies to Win Game 1

A family excursion to North Haven Tuesday night - why - Cheshire- North Haven in a Twinbill. Cheshire rallied with 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th to take Game 1 4-3. North Haven, however, won Game 2 8-5 to hand Cheshire their 1st loss of the season.

Game 1 Ryan Cyr singled home the game winning rbis with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th to give Cheshire a 4-3 victory. Paul Villecco had 3 hits, Ryan Strollo had 4 hits, Ben Schena had 2 hits all for Cheshire.

Daniel Cannavaciolo and Mason Balmer had 2 hits each for North Haven.

Game 2 Owen Silk was the winning pitcher. North Haven scored runs in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd innings to hand Cheshire their 1st loss of the season.

Madison 5 Branford 2 Liam Wallace was the winning pitcher. Jack Pireaux had 2 hits and scored 3 runs for Madison.

Wallingford 10 New Haven 1 Anthony Cretella was the winning pitcher. Joe Amarone had 3 hits, an rbi, and scored 3 runs and Evan Wilkinson had 3hits(single, double, triple) and 4 rbis for Wallingford.
