A family trip to Branford on Wednesday to take in Wallingford at Branford in Zone 2 Senior Legion action.
When the smoke cleared, Branford had gotten a 7-0 victory. Carson Mendoza was the winning pitcher. He allowed just 4 hits and struck out 11. Anthony Burzynski had a single, double, scored 2 runs and had 2 rbis, Alphonse Suppa had a double and an rbi, Bennett Gentile had 2 hits and an rbi and Zach Vandale had a single and rbi for Branford. Branford is 3-2.
Russell Edeen had 2 hits for Wallingford. Wallingford is 2-4.
