History was made in MLB Tuesday night.
The Yankees were beaten by the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-1, but Yankee Pitcher CC Sabathia recorded his 3,000th strikeout. He is the 17th Pitcher in MLB History to accomplish this feat and the 3rd Lefthanded Pitcher to do it.
The Red Sox defeated the Athletics 5-1. Rick Porcello was the winning pitcher. Mitch Moreland and Mookie Betts homered for Boston.
The Mets edged the Reds 4-3 in 10 innings. Pete Alonso drove in the game winning run with a sacrifice fly in the 10th inning.
