Emily Blunt's "Mary Poppins Returns" was, arguably, the most talked-about thing that happened during this year's Oscar broadcast, yet Ewan McGregor - yes, Ben Kenobi himself! - as a grown "Christopher Robin" in a live-action Winnie The Pooh movie is buried amidst a quiet Tuesday's movie preview releases. Why? Less faith in Pooh? Maybe. Bigger budget on the flying nanny flick? Perhaps. It could also be that marketing a movie about a man refusing to grow up and reverting back to his childhood self is less enticing to market than one with a strong female lead in today's world.
