Theresa Leonard, a co-founder of the Bloomfield-based Christian ministry victims’ support group known as the Underground, and a child sex trafficking victim, joined Sen. Blumenthal on Tuesday night.
Blumenthal helped introduce a bill with Ohio Republican Rob Portman to make it easier for law enforcement and victims of child sex trafficking to bring charges against website operators who enable such criminal acts, which is an absolutely URGENT issue and - I think - something Blumenthal is 100% correct in making a priority.
