A bullied Tennessee boy’s heartbreaking Facebook video - and, believe me, it IS heartbreaking - has resulted in stars like Chris Evans inviting him to the Los Angeles premiere of the new "Avengers" movie and Justin Bieber to request a direct message from the li'l guy. Nice gestures, to be sure, but how will the stop the bullies from bullying young Keaton Jones?
Keaton’s mother, Kimberly, posted the minute-long clip of her son apparently sheltering from bullies inside her car on her personal page on Friday, and it has since been viewed 22mil times. She wrote that she had filmed Keaton at his request “after he had me pick him up again because he was afraid to go to lunch”.
My heart goes out to Keaton, and I personally would give him the option of never returning to that school ever again. Some would call that "teaching your child to run away from their problems." OK. I'll take the hit. There's other schools, and there's home. Afraid to go to lunch is unacceptable.
