At the Gretna Heritage Festival in Gretna, Louisiana KISS did something a little different. Before going into an encore following their set, the band asked fans to join them in saying the Pledge of Allegiance together while frontman Gene Simmons said a few patriotic words. Some fans took to social media to note their frustration, one concertgoer going so far as to tweet that the spectacle “was the least rock and roll thing I’ve ever seen.” Others loved it. I would have. Especially if it went into this deep cut from the underrated "Psycho Circus" record that saw all four ORIGINAL members reunite, ever so briefly in the late 90's.....
