Yanks Win, Red Sox, Mets Lose; Travelers Begins, NBA Draft Sr Legion Scores

In MLB Wednesday, the Yankees beat the Mariners 4-2. Jake Bauers, Billy McKinney, and Anthony Volpe all homered for New York.

The Red Sox lost to the Twins 5-4 in 10 innings. Justin Turner homered for Boston.

The Mets were beaten by the Astros 10-8. Pete Alonso hit his 23rd Home Run of the season for the Mets.

The NBA Draft will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Thursday night.

The Travelers Championship will begin Thursday morning at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell.

A family trip to North Haven Wednesday night - Orange at North Haven - a game that was decided by 1 inning - Orange broke open a close 3-1 game and scored 8 runs in the 5th inning to beat North Haven 11-1, called after 5 innings because of the 10 run Mercy Rule.
