A family trip to North Haven Wednesday night - Orange at North Haven - a game that was decided by 1 inning - Orange broke open a close 3-1 game and scored 8 runs in the 5th inning to beat North Haven 11-1, called after 5 innings because of the 10 run Mercy Rule.
Steve Cifarelli was the winning pitcher allowing just 2 hits and had 7 strikeouts. Cifarelli also had 2 hits and 4 rbis at the plate. Anthony Lucibello had 2 hits and scored 3 runs, Ben Cewe had 2 rbis, and Giovanni Aldi had 2 hits and an rbi for Orange, now 7-2.
Sal Giaimo had both North Haven hits.
