A family trip to Orange Wednesday - North Haven and Orange in a Twinbill.
Game 1 - Orange got the win 6-5. Owen Leszczak was the winning pitcher and had 8 strikeouts. The Orange offense was led by Jeff Hutchinson who had a single, double, scored a run and had an rbi, Max Gettinger had a single and 3 rbis and Drew Visnic had an rbi. Shaun Murray had an rbi for North Haven.
Game 2 Orange eked out a 4-3 win. Casey Sexton was the winning pitcher for Orange.
Wallingford took 2 from Branford.
Game 1 Wallingford 14 Branford 1 Justin Hackett was the winning pitcher and was 2 for 3 at the plate. Bill Gorry added a double.
Game 2 Wallingford 7 Branford 1 Kyle Simmons was the winning pitcher in relief. Joe Amarone was 2 for 2, Bill Gorry was 2 for 4, including a double.
Madison 9 West Haven 2
For Madison - Matt Carone was the winning pitcher. Jared Kuryan was 2 for 2, including a double, rbi and 2 runs scored and Ken Nuzzi had a double and 2 rbis.
For West Haven - Tyler Jones was 2 for 3, scored a run and had an rbi and Isaiah Wyatt had an rbi
