The World Series got underway Tuesday night between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Tampa Bay Rays.
The Dodgers came away with an 8-3 victory. Clayton Kershaw was the winning pitcher. Kershaw pitched 6 innings, allowed 1 run, 2 hits and struck out 8.
Mookie Betts and Cody Bellinger homered for the Dodgers.
Tyler Glasnow was the losing pitcher. Kevin Kiermaier homered for Tampa Bay.
Game 2 is Wednesday night. Blake Snell will pitch for Tampa Bay while Tony Gonsolin will go for the Dodgers.
