A family trip to North Haven Monday night to take in East Haven/North Haven. North Haven scored a run in the bottom of the 1st inning on an rbi single from Anthony Maggiore. But the lead was short lived as East Haven erupted for 8 runs in the top of the 3rd and went on to defeat North Haven 8-2. Jonathan Crisci was the winning pitcher. Crisci pitched 6 innings and had 7 strikeouts. Crisci also had a single and rbi. Dominic Golia had 2 rbis and Gianni Mumford had 2 hits and scored a run as well for East Haven, now 5-1.
Milford 3 Branford 0 Jason Giambra pitched a 3 hit shutout while Anthony Capua and Bryant Wardman had rbis for Milford, now 4-1.
A total of 322 were tested in the NBA and only 2 players tested positive.
Mouth shields designed to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus will be delivered to NFL teams next week. There is no mandatory requirement for players to wear the shields yet.
It looks like a trip to Orange Tuesday night. Milford will come a calling - they have had some great battles over the years - tonight another one will take place - Brinley Field - Orange/Milford and me!
