It was a solo trip to Piurek Field Tuesday night, - Hamden and West Haven in a 19u CtEBA game. Well folks, the 2 teams played 11 innings and had to settle for a 1-1 in a game called after 11 innings because of darkness. Hamden scored their lone run in the 2nd inning on a bases loaded walk. West Haven scored their lone tally in the 5th inning on an rbi single from Isaiah Wyatt. The go ahead run was cut down at the plate on a beautiful relay by Hamden. West Haven had the better chances to score the rest of the way but nothing doing and the 2 teams settled for the tie. Henry Bielen had a double for Hamden. Michael Boni had 2 hits and Lorenzo Espinal had 3 hits for West Haven. The 2 teams will finish the game at a later date.
