In High School Baseball on Thursday, West Haven defeated Platt Tech 13-7. The Blue Devils are off to a 2-0 start.
Career got their 1st win of the season edging Hillhouse 11-10.
Also, Brien McMahon defeated Xavier 7-2.
In High School Softball, Jonathan Law shutout Platt Tech 8-0. Law is 2-1.
Sacred Heart Academy beat Guilford 5-1. The Sharks are 2-0 and ironically have won their first 2 games by the same score 5-1.
Also in Softball on Thursday: Southington 21 Conard 5, Cromwell 12 Old Saybrook 0, Griswold 10 Fitch 2, Old Lyme 26 Westbrook 0, Stratford 13 Bunnell 0, Seymour 10 Waterford 1
Many games are scheduled for Friday in both Baseball and Softball. Let's hope the weather cooperates and we get them in.
