You know, I thought the State Championship Football Games were set - the sites and times of the games - but I thought wrong.
You see Greenwich and New Canaan wanted to move their game to Stamford and Lo and Behold - the CIAC said OK. Berlin got into the act saying they didn't want to play at 10:00am since their game on Sunday was moved to Monday. Give me a break. But alas the CIAC said OK.
I wonder why the CIAC Football Committee bothered to do anything, since some things were changed. I know - just let the teams decide where and what time they want to play after the Semifinals are done.
In my opinion, the CIAC determines the Date, Time and Site of the games. The teams should keep quiet and play the games where, when and what time they are scheduled for. However, here is the new schedule:
Saturday, December 8
Class LL Greenwich vs. New Canaan 10:00am Boyle Stadium, Stamford
Class L Maloney vs. Hand 2:00pm Veterans Stadium, New Britain
Class M Berlin vs. St. Joseph 2:00pm Finn Stadium, Shelton
Class S Haddam-Killingworth vs. Bloomfield 10:00am Veterans Stadium, New Britain
I will be Broadcasting the Class M Title Game - Berlin vs. St. Joseph
