Yanks, Mets Beaten; Red Sox Win, Clinch Playoff Spot

The Yankees and Mets both lost on Tuesday night. 

The Yanks were beaten by the Twins 10-5 in Minnesota. Sonny Gray was the losing pitcher. Didi Gregorius hit a grand slam Home Run for New York.

The Mets lost to the Miami Marlins 5-3 at Citi Field. Michael Conforto and Kevin Plawecki both homered for the Mets. The Mets have a team batting average of just .215 at Home.

Jacob deGrom set a single season Major League Record with his 26th consecutive start allowing 3 runs or less.

The Red Sox became the 1st team to clinch a Playoff Spot beating the Blue Jays 7-2 at Fenway Park. Brock Holt homered for Boston.
