The Yankees lost to the Tampa Bay Rays 3-1 at Yankee Stadium on Thursday afternoon. Giancarlo Stanton drove in the only Yankee Run. The Yanks had the bases loaded with nobody out in the bottom of the 9th inning, but could not score.
The Mets and Phillies split a Doubleheader in Philadelphia. The Mets scored 24 runs in Game 1 and stomped the Phillies 24-4. Jose Bautista homered and had 7 rbis for the Mets.
The Phillies won Game 2, however, 9-6. Michael Conforto had 4 rbis for the Mets.
The Red Sox had Thursday off.
