The Coventry, Rhode Island Little League Baseball Team defeated Pittsfield, Massachusetts 3-2 to win the New England Regional Tournament Championship in Bristol.
Rhode Island is now on their way to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. They will begin play on Thursday night.
Braintree, Massachusetts defeated Host Shrewsbury, Massachusetts 7-4 to win the American Senior Legion(19u) Regional Tournament Championship. Braintree now advances to the American Legion World Series in Shelby, North Carolina.
