Southington and Ellington both lost their Senior Legion(19u) Regional Tournament openers and are in the Losers Bracket. The Tournament is in Shrewsbury, Mass.
Southington lost to Essex, Vermont 4-1 while Ellington lost to Braintree, Mass. 7-2.
The unfortunate thing is Southington and Ellington now will play each other on Thursday in an elimination game at 11:00am.
The final game on Wednesday night was rained out, so 5 games are scheduled for Thursday.
Little League Baseball(11-12) New England Regional Tournament in Bristol

The Fairfield American Little League Baseball Team will try to stave off elimination again on Thursday.
Fairfield American will play New Hampshire at 1:00pm.
