Capitals Win Stanley Cup - First in Franchise History

The Washington Capitals won their first Stanley Cup in franchise history defeating the Las Vegas Golden Knights 4-3 Thursday night in Las Vegas. After losing Game 1, the Capitals won the next 4 games to win the series.


The Boston Red Sox fell to the Detroit Tigers 7-2 at Fenway Park. The Tigers scored 5 runs in the 1st inning.

The Yankees and Mets had Thursday off. The 2 teams will face each other in a weekend series at Citi Field.
