Monday night's Girls Softball Broadcast was another dandy - Foran at North Haven.
North Haven had a 4-0 lead going to the 6th inning, but the Lions roared back with 4 runs to tie the game. However, it was a short-lived tie as North Haven scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning for a 10-4 victory. North Haven is 8-3, Foran 1-9.
Lauren Card was the winning pitcher and had 7 strikeouts. Sarah Lombardi had 4 hits and scored 2 runs, Gigi Russo hit a 2 run Home Run and Carly Brown smacked a 3 run Home Run for North Haven.
Haley LaForte had 2 hits and an rbi and Makenna Prete had 2 hits and an rbi for Foran.
