Girls Softball: Law Tops Foran; Wednesday Broadcast - Lyman Hall at Sheehan

I went to Jonathan Law in Milford on Tuesday, in frigid cold weather might I say, and took in Foran at Law, an intra-city rivalry. This game was all Law as they pounded Foran 14-2, called after 4 1/2 innings because of the 12 run Mercy Rule.

Brianna Buccitti was the winning pitcher, allowing just 3 hits.

The offense was led Gina Boccamazzo with a single, double, Home Run and 5 rbis. Maddie Lula added 2 doubles and a Home Run and 4 rbis while Cali Jolley had 2 hits, an rbi and scored 3 runs for Law. Jonathan Law is 5-1.

Kalie Mendola had 2 hits and scored 2 runs and Mary Grace Weissauer had an rbi double for Foran.

Other Softball Scores from Tuesday: Seymour 15 Torrington 1, Shelton 19 Branford 3, West Haven 17 O'Brien Tech 1, North Haven 8 Sheehan 0, Oxford 22 Derby 1
