Two teams in the latest New Haven Register Top 10 High School Football Poll were ousted in the Quarterfinals of the CIAC State Tournament.
#3 Middletown and # 6 Shelton are gone from the Playoffs - the other 8 teams survived

1. Greenwich 2. Ansonia 3. Middletown 4. St. Joseph 5. Darien
6. Shelton 7. New Canaan 8. Windsor 9. Masuk 10. South Windsor
The Semifinals are on Sunday at 12:30pm.

Class L: New Canaan at Masuk Windsor at Hand
Class M: Berlin at Killingly SMSA/Univ./Classical at Joel Barlow
Class S: Stafford/East Windsor/Somers at Ansonia Rocky Hill at St. Joseph
The winners advance to the Championships on Saturday, December 9th.
